5.Asthigata vyadhi (Diseases related with Bones)
The
Asthidhatu [i.e. bones] is the fifth Dhatu in the sequence.
Dharana
means to give support or to give stability to the human body is the
function of the Asthidhatu.
In
the metabolism of the Asthidhatu the nutrients for the Majjadhatu is
produced.
The Sun is the signifactor of Asthidhatu i.e. bones.
The Sun also signifies Heart.
When in Birth Chart the Sun is in a debilitating position or in relation with 6th,8th or 12th houses or when it is affected by the Saturn, the Jupiter and by the Mars, the person will suffer from Asthigata vyadhi such as Sandhivata i.e. Osteoarthritis, Asthishaya i.e. Osteopenia or Osteoporosis, Aamavata i.e. Rheumatoid Arthritis etc.
