3.Mansagata vyadhi (Diseases related with Muscles)

The Mansadhatu [i.e. muscles] is the third Dhatu in the sequence. Lepana means to protect or to cover the various organs of the human body is the function of the Mansadhatu.

In the metabolism of the Mansadhatu the nutrients for the Medadhatu is produced.  

The Saturn is the signifactor of Mansadhatu as well as Vata Dosha.  

When the Saturn in the Birth Chart is in a debilitating position or in relation with 6^th,8^th or 12^th houses or affected by the Jupiter and Mars, then it may cause Mansagata vyadhi.

e.g. Karshya i.e. muscular weakness in respect of strength and volume, Ardhanga vayu i.e. hemiplegia, Kampa vata i.e. tremors etc.

Note :-  According to Ayurveda these activities of the body are carried out with the contraction and the relaxation of the Mansdhatu i.e. muscles. These activities are controlled by Vata Dosha. Hence hemiplegia and tremors are considered as Mansagata vyadhi.
